Since the summer of 2007, the County Administrative Board of Scania, Sweden, has been creating strategies to instigate more mixed-use development in the towns and cities of Scandinavia. This multi-disciplinary initiative connects regional and municipal planning divisions throughout Sweden and Denmark with architects, legal advisors, environmentalists, and university scholars. A significant part of the project encompasses a series of interviews that provide relevant expertise to support public engagement. The video interviews present scholars and practitioners interrogating the concept of mixed-use urbanism. cityLAB director Dana Cuff and co-director Roger Sherman both contribute to the debate with about 20 minutes of discussion. See the videos at The County Administrative Board website.
